About
National Park

The amazing gift of being alive is that no matter what, you can always begin again.
Sharon Salzberg

Are you ready for change? Does the life you’re meant to live feel just out of reach? Are you prioritizing others’ needs over your own, have you you made progress in the past and lost momentum, or aren’t sure where to begin?

No matter where you are, the time is now. The era of waiting is over. The fact that you’re reading this means you’re ready to shift away from old patterns and step into the life meant for you.

My therapeutic approach honors your individuality and centers on a collaborative relationship guided by your goals. I believe everyone has the capacity to change. Together we’ll explore how past experiences shape present patterns and learn practical skills to improve daily life. Choosing therapy is a meaningful act of self‑care—your desired life is within reach.

I’m glad you’re here and I’d be honored to join you on this journey.

Let’s begin.

Bio Real

I am Michael Modresky, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License number 129991). I help clients improve daily life, navigate challenging relationships, set boundaries, heal from trauma, rekindle purpose, strengthen coping, explore identity, and build resilience. I specialize in anxiety, depression, codependency, LGBTQIA+ issues, trauma, life transitions, substance use, grief and loss, and self‑esteem concerns.

My approach is strengths‑based and collaborative, drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and Internal Family Systems therapies. Together we’ll identify the modalities that fit you, examine patterns, thoughts, stories, and relationships, and build insight and practical skills so you can act with greater agency and create meaningful change.

I have specialized training in LGBTQIA+‑affirmative psychotherapy and welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures. I aim to create a safe, comfortable space where you can bring your whole self.

Before clinical training I guided large organizations through process and technology change, and that background informs my sensitivity to life transitions and balancing high‑pressure work and life demands. I hold an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and have worked in community mental health, intensive residential treatment, and private practice.
